The USOC will launch its World Wide Web site, USOC
Online, on August 6 at www.olympic-usa.org. Features will
include: Inside the USOC; The Games; Sports A-Z (sponsored
by the SGMA and detailing Olympic/Pan American sports); Kid
Court; Online Store; Olympic News Network; and Olympic Life.
The site was created by OR-based Creative Multimedia (USOC).
CYBERCHIEFS: Traffic at the Chiefs' Web site,
www.kcchiefs.com, "has doubled from this time last year and
is expected to reach up to eight million visitors per month"
during the '97 season. Sprint Corp. and Health Midwest are
advertising on the team's site, and "five more companies
will sign sponsorship agreements in the next six weeks."
Team officials say "most visitors are males, 25-49 years old
with an average income between $50,000 and $70,000 (K.C.

on the Web for "unduplicated audience reach," according to a
second quarter user survey released by @plan (AD AGE, 7/30).
