RATING NOTES: USTA ONLY HAPPY WHEN IT RAINS

     The Men's U.S. Open final earned a 6.1 rating and 11 share,
making it the highest-rated Men's final since '90. A rain delay
pushed the match into the "highly coveted" "60 Minutes'" time
slot....The Eagles-Packers game Monday night on ABC drew a 15.8
rating (Michael Hiestand, USA TODAY, 9/11)....In Baltimore,
Milton Kent writes the Orioles and Ravens are cutting into each
other's local ratings. The Ravens-Steelers game Sunday drew a
local rating of 16.6/36, down from the 18.9/48 of the opening
week. But "one need look no further than Camden Yards for an
explanation" as the Orioles-Tigers game drew an over-the-air
equivalent of a 4.8/10 on RSN HTS (Baltimore SUN, 9/11). In
Cleveland, the Ravens-Steelers game in Cleveland drew a 15.1/33
share, down from a 16/44 in week one. WKYC-NBC officials
attribute the drop to competition from the Indians-Mariners game
on SportsChannel (Cleveland PLAIN DEALER, 9/10).
