MORRISON GOES PUBLIC TODAY WITH HIS HIV INFECTION

     Heavyweight Tommy Morrison's new conference at 3:00pm EST
today will be televised live by ESPN and ESPN2.  Morrison will
also appear on the second half-hour of CNN's "Larry King Live,"
which starts at 10:00pm EST (THE DAILY).
     NEW YORK GETS ON BOARD:  The NY State Athletic Commission
said yesterday it would screen boxers annually for HIV, but it
has not yet been determined how to implement pre-fight testing
(N.Y. TIMES, 2/15).  Promoter Don King also said he will require
all fighters on his future cards to be tested for HIV (PHILA.
DAILY NEWS, 2/14).
