     BARBARA WATERS has been promoted to Marketing Manager,
Affiliate Marketing at ESPN.  She had been Senior Account Exec,
Affiliate Sales and Marketing for the Northeast region
(ESPN)....In Miami, EDDIE JONES was promoted to President and COO
of the Dolphins after six years as the team's Exec VP & GM.
JIMMY JOHNSON was named GM (Mult., 1/17)....A.J. JONESCO has been
named Manager of Media and Marketing at IMG Motorsports in
Detroit, coming from media manager of the L.A. Marathon (CRAIN'S
DETROIT, 1/14 issue)....HOWARD STARKMAN, Dir of Public Relations
for the Blue Jays, was selected for the '95 Fischel Award for PR
Excellence (MLB)....The University of Oregon's James H. Warsaw
Sports Marketing Center announced the appointment of Women's
Sports Foundation Exec Dir DONNA LOPIANO and NFLP VP/Marketing
HOWARD HANDLER to its advisory board (Warsaw Center)....
Fleer/SkyBox Int'l has promoted RAY ABRAHAMSEN to Senior VP of
the new hobby trade division.  He had been VP/Marketing.  H.R.
"TED" TAYLOR has been named VP/Account Management and Public
Relations in the new division.  He had been Corporate Dir of
Public Relations (PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER, 1/15)
