DISNEY LAYS FOUNDATION FOR INDY TRACK

     The ceremonial cornerstone for the new auto racing track at
Walt Disney World was set.  The 1.16-mile Indy Car speedway,
which is being built near the Magic Kingdom, will seat close to
50,000 fans with 36 luxury suites that cost roughly $25,000 each.
Indy-car testing at the track is scheduled for late October or
early November (Mark Zizzo, ORLANDO SENTINEL, 6/28)....The
Amateur Athletic Union is planning to move to Disney's FL Sports
Complex in December of '96.  The agreement is not final, but the
AAU plans to bring 40 events to Orlando the first few years that
Disney's new sports complex is open (MIAMI HERALD, 6/27).
