VIRTUAL ADS COMING SOON

New video insertion technology which can allow a stadium or
arena advertisement to look different to a TV viewer will be
demonstrated by David Sarnoff Research Center at the Nat'l
Association of Broadcasters April 12. Sarnoff President/CEO
James Carnes said the insertion system can not only insert a
local ad on an existing ballpark billboard, but it can also
"create" a billboard that is only seen on TV (Edmond Rosenthal,
ELECTRONIC MEDIA, 4/10 issue). The Sarnoff Center created the
video insertion system, of which Princeton Electronic Billboards
owns the rights. Sarnoff received permission from PEB to
demonstrate the system at the NAB meeting (THE DAILY).
