CFP Title Game Comes Despite Virus Concerns In Final Week

An unprecedented college football season culminates tonight with the Alabama-Ohio State CFP title game at Hard Rock Stadium, and it comes after a "week of wondering if the game would even be played during the on-going pandemic" (COLUMBUS DISPATCH, 1/11). The game also falls after "five months to the day that the Big Ten initially decided to cancel its fall football season," a decision that was obviously reversed (ELEVENWARRIORS.com, 1/11). Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox has "urged Alabama football fans to celebrate at home in the event the Crimson Tide" are victorious (TUSCALOOSA NEWS, 1/11).
