Penn State AD Sandy Barbour wrote that the school is "planning to conduct fall sporting events, including football games, without fans at this time." In a letter to football season-ticket holders, Barbour cited the current policies set forth by Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf to help slow the spread of the virus (Harrisburg PATRIOT-NEWS, 8/6).

The ballpark the Braves used for nearly 20 years converted three years ago to a football stadium for Georgia State is to be "rechristened Center Parc Credit Union Stadium." The new name comes after an agreement with the Atlanta Postal Credit Union, which will pay a "sponsor fee" of nearly $21.6M in 15 annual installments (GRIFFIN DAILY NEWS, 8/6).

Peacock and NBC Sports today announced that Rich Eisen will continue his L.A.-based "The Rich Eisen Show" on NBCSN starting Monday, August 17. Beginning on Monday, October 5, the show will stream exclusively on Peacock (NBC).

HBO will "air its Craig Carton documentary" titled, "Wild Card: The Downfall of a Radio Loudmouth," on Oct. 7 (TWITTER.com, 8/6).
