Wie Joining Golf Channel Studio Coverage Around Solheim Cup

Golfer Michelle Wie has landed a "new role as a Golf Channel studio analyst" for this week's Solheim Cup in Scotland. She will join "Golf Central" this weekend following live Solheim Cup coverage, debuting at 1:30pm ET "following Friday's action alongside former LPGA Pro Paige Mackenzie." Wie also will "contribute to Golf Channel's digital and social media platforms, including Instagram story takeovers." Wie is "taking time off from the tour to get healthy" and will miss competing in the event after having been "part of every U.S. team" since '09 (GOLFWEEK.com, 9/11).
