Terrapin Seeing Success With New Braves-Themed Lager

Terrapin Beer Co. on Saturday -- just minutes after the Braves clinched the NL East -- released Choptober Lager, a new beer available only at the Terrapin Taproom inside SunTrust Park. The brew has been the top-selling draft beer at the taproom since its unveiling. Terrapin Brewmaster Brian Buckowski said, “An initial 10 barrel batch was produced on our small pilot system right inside SunTrust Park and we’ll be kegging an additional batch next week to keep up with growing demand.” The Georgia-based brewer also created a limited-edition beer in July in honor of Chipper Jones' induction into the Baseball HOF.
