More than $1M was raised today at the industry’s biggest holiday event – the 33rd annual March of Dimes Sports Luncheon in N.Y. Honorees included Bruin Sports Capital Founder & CEO George Pyne, who got the Corporate Leadership Award, and PGA of America CEO Pete Bevacqua, who got the Sports Leadership Award. Retired NFL QB Peyton Manning won Sportsman of the Year, while retired WNBA F Swin Cash took Sportwoman of the Year honors.
