Sources Confirm Malik To Buy NASL RailHawks From Traffic Sports

Sources confirmed that that healthcare IT entrepreneur Stephen Malik is "poised to acquire controlling interest" in the NASL Carolina RailHawks from Traffic Sports, which has owned the soccer club for five seasons. The sale "could be finalized as soon as next week, although Malik has already been approved" by the NASL BOG and has been "quietly meeting with various figures in the Triangle soccer community." RailHawks President Curt Johnson declined comment on any "impending sale" (WRALSPORTSFAN.com, 10/21).
