Iowa State men’s basketball coach Fred Hoiberg, who led his team to this year’s Sweet 16, Friday received a $600,000 salary boost. Hoiberg’s average annual salary will be $2.6M and he is signed through the '23 season (DESMOINESREGISTER.com, 4/11).

Marshall Univ. officials reportedly have “secured the money to give” alumnus Mike D’Antoni a salary in "the $500,000 range," if he does not remain the Lakers' coach. Marshall also would "pay assistant coaches commensurate wages, arrange charter flights for away games and hire a secretary for the basketball office" (Huntington HERALD-DISPATCH, 4/11).
