North Face Launches Digital Training Platform, New Apparel Line
North Face today formally launched a digital training platform in tandem with its Mountain Athletics apparel and footwear collection. The launch marks a "big push into spring and summer gear" for North Face and a "strategic shift that will increasingly put it toe-to-toe with Nike, adidas, and the rest of the world's biggest sportswear brands." The Mountain Athletics line will include 16 styles. North Face President of Americas Todd Spaletto said that it will "anchor the biggest marketing campaign the company has ever produced" (BUSINESSWEEK.com, 2/20).
