ESPN today announced that actor Jon Hamm will host the '13 ESPYS on July 17. The awards ceremony will air live from the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live at 9:00pm ET (ESPN).

Eddie Cheever "will expand his role as analyst for all six" of ABC's IndyCar race telecasts this season. Cheever in the past "primarily worked only the Indianapolis 500" (AP, 4/24).

Delaware North Cos. Australia today announced it will continue as the hospitality and catering partner of Melbourne & Olympic Parks, home of the Australian Open, continuing an exclusive deal in place since '89 (Delaware North).

Bob Socci has been "hired as the new play-by-play voice for Patriots game broadcasts" on Boston-based WBZ-FM. Socci has "called Navy football games on the radio for the past 16 years." He replaces Gil Santos, who retired after the '12 season (BOSTON.com, 4/24).

MoGo Sport today announced that 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick will wear MoGo Flavored Mouthguards next season and will serve as brand ambassador, including appearances in company advertisements. X-A-M Sports and French/West/Vaughan brokered the deal (MoGo).
