Grantland Today Rolls Out NCAA Tournament-Themed Live Podcast

Grantland today debuted an NCAA Tournament-themed live podcast that will continue through the first two days of the tournament. The podcast is viewable on Grantland's YouTube channel as well as on the site itself. The podcast is being streamed from Bill Simmons' house in L.A. and features Simmons, Jalen Rose, Rembert Browne and Joe House, though in the early going Simmons and Rose were dominating the conversations. Below are some highlights from the first podcast segment:

Rose said of his ESPN schedule: "I'm supposed to come here to do a live stream, then all of a sudden I have my producer from 'College GameDay' saying, 'Jalen, What time are you going to be in Bristol?'"
...
Simmons: "Gambling advice and discussion will be legal during the live streaming. It's all good. We're going to talk about the stuff that we talk about as we watch these games."
...
Simmons: "The tournament starts today, right? Do we count those stupid Tuesday games?"
Rose: "No. That's just a money grab."
Simmons: "What did you care more about, the Tuesday March Madness games or the World Baseball Championships?"
...
The group early on dove into discussions of betting, including a prop bet about Duke making it to the Elite Eight. Simmons: "Who wants to root for Duke?" Rose: "Money. Bet on green." Simmons: "You hate Duke more than anybody."
...
In typical Grantland podcast fashion, the group also veered off into miscellaneous topics, such as pop culture and Simmons' decorating. Rose: "This is a classic mancave. All these throwback posters."
...
Rose at one point checked Twitter on his phone and asked, "Are we trending yet?" (THE DAILY)
