NOS Energy Drink on Friday announced a deal to sponsor the No. 6 NASCAR Nationwide Series Ford driven by Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Stenhouse will be the focal point of the brand's motorsports activation (NOS Energy Drink).

Sarah Fisher Hartman Racing "will soon be a Honda team in the Izod IndyCar Series." The team will "get the engine program once earmarked for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing" (INDYSTAR.com, 2/24).

Tequila brand el Jimador has named ESPN soccer analyst Alexi Lalas a brand ambassador (el Jimador).

The Basketball HOF has awarded the '12 Curt Gowdy Media Award to Bill Schonely, who was the Trail Blazers' broadcaster from the club's founding in '70 until the '98 playoffs (Trail Blazers).
