Speed Rolls Out New Coverage Features For All-Star Race

Speed is "once again doubling down on its coverage" of Saturday's NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The main booth features Mike Joy, Darrell Waltrip and Michael Waltrip. Analysts Larry McReynolds and Jeff Hammond will be in the Hollywood Hotel area in th infield, where they will test out a new touch-screen monitor feature called "Speed Touch." Krista Voda also will be in the Hollywood Hotel. The net also is "pushing a social media campaign" dubbed "Speed Social Tracker," with 20 on-air crew members "answering questions and posting on Twitter and Facebook" (SCENEDAILY.com, 5/18).
