Will Staeger

President, Business Operations
NeuLion

Alongside Endeavor Chief Technology Officer Nick Wilson, Will Staeger oversees Endeavor’s business operations in video streaming services, spanning both internally developed streaming technology and the 2018 acquisition of NeuLion and its industry-leading platform technology.  In his position as President Business Operations, Will is responsible for managing the company’s relationships with such clients as the NFL, NBA, UFC, Univision, Rogers Sportsnet, EFL, Eleven Sports, PokerGo, and many others.  He also oversees the company’s new business growth initiatives and synergies across broader Endeavor company business units.

Before stepping into his role at NeuLion, Will managed strategic content initiatives and executive produced all premium original series and specials as co-head of the IMG Original Content group.  He was responsible for the launch and oversight of IMG's content slate through the production of series and specials on HBO, Showtime, Netflix, E!, A&E, Amazon, ABC, FOX, CBS, NBC, Facebook, Go90, Complex, and other services, including a groundbreaking set of new follow-doc projects with European soccer clubs beginning with First Team: Juventus on Netflix and All or Nothing: Manchester City on Amazon. On the strategy side, IMG OC has been at the leading edge of innovative content delivery to consumers for the broader Endeavor brand, coordinating companywide initiatives in film and scripted series financing, podcasts, direct-to-consumer networks and specials, league ownership, and consulting services across numerous media rights negotiations.

Prior to IMG OC, Will oversaw production at WWE as EVP Production, managing the production teams for all original programs included in the launch of WWE’s groundbreaking global premium content platform, the WWE Network. He oversaw development of new programming concepts as executive producer of all original programming on the network, including 70+ hours across multiple original series in reality & documentary genres, 20+ hours of original biographies, new studio shows and pre & post-shows, live red carpet specials, live awards shows, and live breaking news.

Previous to WWE, Will was SVP of Programming Strategy at Dick Clark Productions.  As head of new programming, he oversaw development and sales of new series and specials and served as show-running executive producer on all new projects, including two seasons of "Shaq Vs." on ABC, all while managing multiple departments across the company, from licensing, to digital content, to archive sales and the company’s private screening room asset.  In this role he oversaw the company’s groundbreaking digital programming initiative, unlocking the vast DCP library for digital distribution and launching original pre-shows and red carpet content around the company’s premiere event properties.

Will has also served as co-head of ESPN’s original programming unit, where he was a part of the launch of such franchises as Pardon the Interruption, Around the Horn, scripted series Playmakers and Tilt, and numerous original movies and documentary series.  Will began his career in feature film development, working for such prolific producers as Joel Silver and Mario Kassar.  He is the author of two critically acclaimed international thriller novels and an active coach, referee, and parent in youth soccer.
