Mike Enright

Deputy Spokesperson and Editorial Associate - Communications
University of Connecticut

Mike Enright currently serves as the Deputy Spokesperson and Editorial Associate for the University Communications office at UConn. He has served in that role since November 2017. Prior to joining University Communications, he served as Senior Associate Director of Athletics at UConn from 2002-17. In his role, he directed media and communications operations for all 24 Husky teams. During that time, UConn won numerous NCAA Championships, including dual national championships in both men’s and women’s basketball in 2004 and 2014. The football team also made its first-ever BCS bowl appearance following the 2010 season.

Enright also served as an Associate Athletic Director for Communications at Boston College (2000-02) and was the Associate Sports Information Director at Notre Dame (1992-2000).

He is a 1988 UConn graduate, where he served as Assistant Sports Information Director from 1988-92. Enright holds a master’s degree from Boston College.
