Dan Mannix currently serves as the CEO of CSM North America, Founder of LeadDog Marketing Group.
Previously, he was the President & CEO of LeadDog Marketing Group, now known as CSM LeadDog, an integrated sports marketing agency based in New York City. Dan founded LeadDog 18 years ago, growing it into a global agency of 200+ make-it-happen, passionate people. In 2016, the agency was named “Best in Sports Event and Experiential Marketing” by SportsBusiness Journal. LeadDog joined the CSM Sports and Entertainment global family of agencies less than two years ago.
CSM North America has developed longstanding relationships, creating, marketing, and activating brand experiences for partners such as the PGA of America, USGA, NFLPA, NCAA, USTA, WWE, Formula E, NASCAR, Coca-Cola, Intel, Netflix, Oath, Square, Susan G. Komen, Reebok, and Audi. The agency is openly collaborative and constantly curious, creating impact by challenging convention in sports, media, brand storytelling, social impact and emerging sport startups.
A past SportsBusiness Journal Forty Under 40 honoree, Dan brings more than 20 years of strategic marketing and partnership development for signature brand experiences and extensive work with innovation-led start-ups. After starting his career in sports marketing at the Houston Astrodome, Dan transitioned to the NBA where he worked on key events and ran team operations for the launch of the WNBA. Additionally, Dan spearheaded the basketball competition at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.
Dan serves as Board Chair of Up2Us Sports, a national coaching initiative, and is a founding partner and board member of One Team Collective, the venture accelerator of the NFLPA.
He is a graduate of the University of Richmond and lives in Brooklyn with his amazing wife, Michelle, and energetic son, Jackson.
