With a first-round pick in the NFL Draft for the first time in eight years, the Rams will return to a fan-facing activation this year on the sand at Hermosa Beach outside L.A.
Stadium naming-rights sponsor SoFi is back again as the presenting sponsor after taking that role in the Rams’ “Draft lab” in 2023. The lab, and the “Rocket Mortgage Draft House” in the prior two years served as content creation studios and B-to-B hospitality zones, with no public party given the Rams’ strategic de-emphasis on high-profile picks.
With the 19th overall pick this year, the “Rams Draft Experience presented by SoFi” will be open to the public at Hermosa Beach’s Pier Plaza, Schumacher Plaza and the beach, which will be covered with a 60-yard artificial turf football field for skills and drills challenges.
The party will start at 4pm PT on April 25, one hour before the draft gets underway in Detroit. It will continue the following day. Programming also includes Rams content creators, live coverage of the draft, cheerleaders, the Mariachi Rams and an appearance by Rams Super Bowl XXXIV champion D’Marco Farr.
