Quaker State Activates NASCAR Deals With Digital Promotion

Quaker State has launched a new digital promotion that lets fans vote on which of its classic throwback paint schemes it will run during a NASCAR race this season, and it has quickly vaulted into one of its most engaged posts ever. Quaker State is a client of home retailer Menards, which is also a major NASCAR sponsor, and Menards gives Quaker State two primaries on Wood Brothers Racing’s No. 21 Ford every year. The Shell-owned brand is letting fans choose the paint scheme for the Monster Energy Cup Series race at Kentucky Speedway -- Quaker State title sponsors that event -- between three of its former paint schemes from decades past. The promotion includes paid advertising on multiple social sites.
