Power Players: Wilkinson Stekloff

One name has been associated with two of the highest-profile efforts this year — the  Alston antitrust lawsuit and the inquiry into the Washington Football Team. Wilkinson, who was the federal prosecutor in the Oklahoma City bombing trial, was lead counsel for the NCAA in the Alston case that challenged NCAA rules limiting the compensation student athletes may receive. This summer, Wilkinson completed an independent investigation of the culture, practices and alleged misconduct of the team after reports of sexual harassment were detailed by the news media. The ripple effects of both cases continue to be felt across sports.
