Carroll, based in Boston, has represented clients in investigations conducted by MLB and the NHL and in arbitrations before the NBPA. He recently represented Boston Red Sox manager Alex Cora and other team employees during the MLB investigation into allegations of illegal use of electronic equipment to decipher catchers’ signs during the 2018 and 2019 seasons. New York-based Mulrain advises Overtime Elite on many aspects of its launch this month, including the creation of its uniform player’s agreement, player conduct policy and licensing agreements, along with other employment, health care, regulatory and licensing matters. Thomas, based in Washington, D.C., has advised on legal issues in college athletics for 20 years, conducting investigations on alleged NCAA rules violations, advising on enforcement matters, and the appeal of sanctions on universities, athletes and personnel. He has advised on Title IX compliance and employment contracts for coaches, and his client list has included the Big Ten, schools in the SEC and Big 12, and Lead1 Association.
