A former sports agent and former owner of the Arizona Diamondbacks and San Diego Padress, Moorad serves in a unique consultative role, connecting his contacts in the sports industry to the appropriate legal services at Morgan Lewis. The firm represented his company, MSP Sports Capital, in the $248.6 million investment in McLaren Racing. In addition to expertise in the sports finance space, Bernstein is a longtime legal adviser to The Kraft Group and the New England Patriots, including in connection with KAGR’s equity financing. Aldridge, who leads the firm’s mergers and acquisitions practice, represented Fanatics in numerous fundraising and financing transactions, including its latest round of $325 million equity financing — which now values the company at $18 billion — the acquisitions of Top of the World and WinCraft, and the joint venture with Lids.
