Calabrese continues to build the firm’s sports practice into a juggernaut that attracts talent from other firms. Sullins represented Intuit in its deal to name the Los Angeles Clippers’ new arena and advised Caesars Entertainment on naming rights for the New Orleans Superdome. Hamill, who joined the firm in 2019, advised Endeavor on its $700 million acquisition of On Location Experiences, and Vivid Seats in its merger agreement with Horizon Acquisition Corp. Saviano, a member of SBJ’s Forty Under 40 Hall of Fame who joined Latham & Watkins last year, and Sullins represented 888 Holdings in its exclusive partnership with Authentic Brands Group to develop Sports Illustrated sports betting and iGaming products in the U.S. Yates and Wine represented U.S. Soccer in high-profile lawsuits, and Johnson advised the NCAA and IOC on strategies for handling the pandemic’s impact on the NCAA Tournament and the Summer Olympics, respectively.
