Fox Sports sideline reporter Erin Andrews will be honored with the Pat Summerall Award, which is awarded each year to a notable NFL broadcaster.

Andrews, 42, is the first woman to be honored with this award in the 15 years of its existence. She will receive the honor at a charity dinner during Super Bowl week in Tampa, with the game scheduled for Feb. 7.

The award is the focal point of the Legends for Charity dinner that has been a staple of Super Bowl week since 2006. Created and produced by Cheryl DeLeonardis of Ocean 2 Ocean Productions, the benefit has raised a total of $8 million for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The Pat Summerall Award typically highlights NFL broadcasters, having already honored household names like Chris Berman, James Brown, Joe Buck, Al Michaels and Jim Nantz. Last year, Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly was honored.

Andrews was picked for her work as Fox Sports’ top NFL sideline reporter, a role she’s held since 2014. She joined Fox in 2012 after eight years at ESPN, incluidng a prominent role in its college football coverage.

Andrews’ profile outside of sports grew in 2014 when she became co-host of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.” Just last week, she announced that she would not be returning to the show next season.
