CAA creates new management structure with four co-heads

Creative Artists Agency has created a new management structure for its brand consulting division and named four executives as the new co-heads.

Aubree Curtis, Jeff Eccleston, Liz Gray and Seth Jacobs have each been named co-head, CAA Brand Consulting. They will report to Paul Danforth, who was named president of CAA Sports last November.

Previously, the division was led by Greg Luckman, but he departed the agency last November. Danforth has been overseeing the division since then.

All four of the new leaders come from the brand consulting division, Danforth said. “Each led a specific area of expertise that I see as essential to meeting our clients’ needs moving forward,” he added.

Curtis is a leading strategist whose work over 18 years at CAA straddles the fields of entertainment marketing, corporate social responsibility/cause marketing, and social impact.

Eccleston was responsible for building and leading the strategy and innovation department within CAA Brand Consulting.

Gray is a seasoned business development and strategy executive, who helps organizations innovate a strategic road map.

Jacobs has served in a senior leadership capacity at CAA Brand Consulting since 2012 and has played an integral role in several high-profile deals for brand clients across sports and entertainment, including the Chase Center naming-rights deal.

“My belief is that comprehensive specialization will put our clients in the best position for success,” Danforth said.

CAA Brand Consulting comprises 250 employees in the U.S., London, Munich and China, and is advising, managing, activating and measuring more than $4 billion in strategic partnerships for global clients, including JPMorgan Chase, Bose, Mondelez, Google, Aflac, KPMG, Tissot, Jaguar Land Rover and Constellation Brands.
