Boras and Paul are nearly total opposites in background and experience, but the two agents had huge years in 2019. Boras, arguably the most influential agent in any major sport, negotiated the second-biggest MLB contract in history, a $330 million deal for Bryce Harper. Paul’s influence in NBA realms continues to grow, and he drew investment in Klutch from UTA. Heading up the new sports division should give Paul and his clients greater access to Hollywood.
