The Indianapolis Indians hired KATHRYN BOBEL as premium services and events coordinator; JO GARCIA as community outreach manager; and MATT MARENCIK as ticket sales account executive.

The Oakland Athletics promoted CHRISTOPHER FLYNN to senior manager of The CORE (Culture, Opportunity, Results, Education).

Basketball

The Charlotte Hornets promoted DONNA JULIAN to executive vice president and Spectrum Center general manager; RONNIE BRYANT to chief information officer; MIKE CRISTALDI to chief communications officer; MARLENE HENDRICKS to senior vice president of guest experience; and JOE PIERCE to chief legal officer.

The Sacramento Kings named CRAIG SLAUNWHITE head of performance and ALEXANDER SIGUA director, media relations, and promoted TEENA MURRAY to vice president, health and performance; GREG STRATTON to director of scouting; MELANIE STOCKING to director, team travel and logistics; MARK TOYODA to director, basketball administration; ANALISE LANGFORD to basketball facility operations manager; ROBBIE LEMONS to manager of basketball administration; AKACHI OKUGO to player development manager; and MICHAEL MARTINEZ to media relations coordinator.

Colleges

Adelphi University named JESSICA ROQUE associate athletic director for compliance and administration. Roque replaces KATE WHALEN, who recently was named associate athletic director at Regis University.

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock promoted GEORGE LEE to athletic director.

Drexel University named JIM FOLEY coordinator for tickets and operations and MATT WURZBURGER assistant director of athletic communications and promoted ALLISON CAMPBELL to manager, marketing and fan engagement; AJ DIGENNARO to manager, business development; GLEN GREMMEL to assistant director, facilities and operations; and ERIC WEBER to director of athletic video services.

The University of Illinois at Chicago named MICHAEL LIPITZ athletic director. Lipitz was deputy athletic director at N.C. State University.

Johns Hopkins University named JAKE OLKKOLA senior associate athletic director, effective Nov. 18. Olkkola is athletic director at Colby College.

Lincoln Memorial University named JASHER COX athletic director, effective Nov. 12. Cox is assistant athletic director at Tuskegee University.

McNeese State University promoted TANNER STINES to senior associate athletic director.

The University of Michigan hired KENNETH MILES as executive senior associate athletic director. Miles was assistant vice chancellor and executive director of the Cox Communications Academic Center for Student-Athletes at LSU.

The University of Mississippi promoted TYLER SISKEY to associate athletic director for player personnel; JENNIFER SAXON to associate athletic director for student-athlete enhancement; TIFFANY EDWARDS to assistant athletic director for administration; CHARLIE BALL BURRELL to assistant athletic director for academic enrichment; KATIE WISDOM to director of ticket operations; KRISTEN ARQUILLA to associate director for compliance; and BRADY BRAMLETT and HAILEY GILLELAND to associate directors of development/annual giving.

Northeastern University hired SCOTT MACDONALD as associate athletic director for communications. MacDonald was vice president of marketing and public relations for the United Shore Professional Baseball League.

Old Dominion University named CAROLYN CRUTCHFIELD senior woman administrator. Crutchfield will continue in her role as assistant athletic director for marketing.

Princeton University announced several moves in a reorganization of its athletics department including KELLIE STAPLES to senior associate athletic director for advancement; STACEY BUNTING-THOMPSON to senior associate director of athletics for external relations; JERRY PRICE to senior communications adviser and department historian; promoted MACALL MARTIN to assistant athletic director for marketing; and hired ANDY GRANOZIO as assistant athletic director for ticketing.

Saint Joseph’s University named JASMINE CANNADY associate athletic director for marketing and fan experience; AVERY MARZ and BRENDAN ROACH athletic communications graduate assistants; and MIKE JOLAOSO a graduate assistant for athletic marketing, and promoted JACK JUMPER to director of athletic communications and JOE GREENWICH and NIKKI PHILPOT to full-time assistant directors of athletic communications.

Esports

Immortals Gaming Club hired ROYCE WILSON as vice president, corporate partnerships and media sales, and promoted KAREN HENNESSY-COLES to vice president, people and culture and JOSH COOK to vice president, content

Football

The Johnson Controls Hall of Fame Village promoted JOHN REGAS to vice president of marketing and partnerships and hired RYAN ROBBINS as vice president, alliance partnerships; NICK MCNEIL as senior director, alliance partnerships; and EMILY BLAIR as director, marketing partnerships.

The XFL named DAVID MICHAEL chief technology officer. Michael was previously chief information officer for The Madison Square Garden Company.

DLA Piper announced that ALEX STEINBERG rejoined the firm’s corporate practice and media, sport and entertainment sector.

Marketing

4FRONT promoted CORY WINKLER to insights analyst, analytics and business intelligence, and A.J. STONER to director, analytics and business intelligence.
