Forty executives across sports selected for Game Changers class of 2019

Forty women in senior leadership roles across sports business have been selected for recognition next month as part of Sports Business Journal’s ninth annual class of Game Changers.

They will be featured in the Sept. 16 issue of SBJ and honored on Sept. 17 in New York at the Game Changers: Women in Sports Business conference.

The conference will include a “From the C-Suite” series featuring new WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert; Dallas Mavericks CEO Cynthia Marshall; Nancy Lieberman, head coach of the Big3 Power team and founder and CEO of Nancy Lieberman Charities; Kim Davis, NHL executive vice president of social impact, growth initiatives and legislative affairs; and Loretta Claiborne, chief inspiration officer for the Special Olympics. The art of negotiation will be the topic of a one-on-one interview with Mori Taheripour, a professor at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
