Wasserman, which represents Sue Bird, Katie Ledecky and Alex Morgan among others stars, is forming a new division called The Collective to help market some of the biggest female athletes in the world. Having the muscle of a major agency like Wasserman leading this effort can only help draw further attention to athletes who have untapped marketability.

Jason Sugarman, a minority owner of LAFC, was charged by the SEC in a civil lawsuit of orchestrating a three-year fraud that led to stealing $43 million in investor funds and him taking $9 million for himself. There are no criminal charges against Sugarman yet.
