The Memphis Grizzlies named RICH CHO vice president of basketball strategy and GLEN GRUNWALD senior adviser for the basketball operations department.

The Houston Rockets promoted RAFAEL STONE to executive vice president of basketball operations and general counsel, and ELI WITUS to assistant general manager and executive vice president of basketball operations.

Colleges

The Atlantic Coast Conference named ERIC SANINOCENCIO associate commissioner of strategic digital media.

The University of New Orleans named TIM DUNCAN athletic director. Duncan had been deputy athletic director of external affairs at Northeastern University.

The University of St. Joseph named LOU IZZI athletic director. Izzi had been athletic director at New England College and replaces BILL CARDARELLI, who is starting a new position at the university.

The University of Memphis named JEFF CRANE deputy athletic director. Crane was executive associate athletic director at the University of South Carolina.

The University of Texas at El Paso named CONNOR PUTMAN assistant athletic director of video production and graphic design. Putman had been director of video production at The Citadel.

Football

The New York Giants named PETE GUELLI chief commercial officer. Guelli was executive vice president and chief operating officer for the Charlotte Hornets.

Hockey

The Minnesota Wild named CHRIS O’HEARN director of hockey operations. O’Hearn had been a scout for the Calgary Flames.

Lacrosse

The Premier Lacrosse League named DIVYA GOEL head of marketing. Goel had been director of media marketing for the NFL.

Marketing

Fox Run Group hired TIM DAVIS as account manager, sponsorships and advertising at the East Carolina Alumni Association.

Nintendo named NICK CHAVEZ senior vice president of sales and marketing.

SBTech named JOANN PIERCE as a business development executive, USA.

Media

MARK RICHT joined the ACC Network as a football studio analyst.

Digital sports media publisher Wave named ANDY WIEDLIN chief business officer.

Olympics

The International Olympic Committee named ANEESH MADANI head of digital partnerships.

USA Swimming hired SHANA FERGUSON as its first chief commercial officer. Ferguson had been head of marketing Canada for Under Armour.

Soccer

Major League Soccer named ANASTASIA DANIAS SCHMIDT general counsel, and BILL ORDOWER executive vice president of MLS Business Ventures. Danias Schmidt was deputy general counsel, litigation and legal affairs for the NFL, while Ordower was general counsel for MLS.

The Columbus Crew named NEIL MCGUINNESS director of scouting.

NYCFC Academy named LIAM MANNING director of coaching.

Under Armour North America President JOHN LAROSE has left the company.

ROD GRAVES, NFL senior vice president of football administration and club services, is stepping down to become chair of the Fritz Pollard Alliance, succeeding the retiringJOHN WOOTEN.
