Baseball

Major League Baseball Vice President of Community Affairs and Educational Programming THOMAS BRASUELL stepped down from his position. Brasuell was also president of MLB Charities.

Colleges

Abilene Christian University named CHRIS BALLARD associate director of athletics for student services.

Alabama State University promoted KEVICIA BROWN to assistant athletic director for academic services.

Long Beach State University promoted DAVID KIM to ticket coordinator, and hired CAMDEN STOCKTON as associate athletic director for development and ADAM GARELIK as a development assistant.

The University of Missouri hired MATTHEW JAKOBSZE as associate athletic director for compliance. Jakobsze was associate athletic director for compliance at Eastern Michigan University.

Pennsylvania State University hired SCOTT SIDWELL as deputy athletic director for external. Sidwell was athletic director at the University of San Francisco.

The University of Portland promoted GLENNA ANDREWS to assistant athletic director for academic and student-athlete development.

Providence College promoted BOB DRISCOLL JR. to vice president in addition to his title as athletic director.

Sacred Heart University hired CHARLIE DOWD as deputy athletic director for external affairs. Dowd was senior vice president of operations for Harbor Yard Sports & Entertainment.

Southern Illinois University named JERRY KILL athletic director and special assistant to the chancellor. Kill had served as a special assistant to the chancellor and acting athletic director for the university.

Utah Valley University Athletic Director VINCE OTOUPAL resigned.

Football

The Arizona Cardinals hired MATT HARRISS as director of football administration. Harriss was vice president of administration for the Detroit Lions.

The Los Angeles Chargers hired STEVEN ZIFF as chief marketing officer.

Hockey

The Vegas Golden Knights hired DARREN ELIOT as vice president of hockey programming and facility operations.

Lacrosse

The National Lacrosse League’s expansion New York franchise hired LANCE BASLER as assistant general manager and director of lacrosse operations. Basler was general manager of national teams for US Lacrosse.

Marketing

JMI Sports promoted PAUL ARCHEY to chief commercial officer and KIM SHELTON to president for its UK Sports and Campus Marketing property at the University of Kentucky.

Media

Fandom named PERKINS MILLER chief executive officer. Miller was general manager of Americas for StubHub.

NBC Sports Bay Area and NBC Sports California hired JUAN MAIO as vice president of sales. Maio was senior regional vice president for DAZN.

The Players’ Tribune President and Co-Founder JAYMEE MESSLER left the publication.

CBS hired RICK MCCABE as vice president of corporate communications.

DAZN hired LOGAN SWAIM as executive producer for its nightly MLB show.

NBC Sports Ventures Senior Vice President ROB SIMMELKJAER stepped down from his position.

Motorsports

IndyCar hired SJ LUEDTKE as vice president of marketing and MIKE ZIZZO as a communications consultant. Luedtke was senior brand director of football for Nike, and Zizzo was vice president of communications for Texas Motor Speedway.

NASCAR named BEN KENNEDY general manager for the Camping World Truck Series.

Multiteam Companies

Pegula Sports and Entertainment hired DAN MISKO as vice president of sales for the organization and KEVYN ADAMS as general manager and CHARLES MENDOLA and JASON LONG as assistant general managers for the HarborCenter.

Ilitch Holdings hired SHAWN PLATT as vice president of corporate communications and PETER KENT as senior vice president of corporate partnerships.

Olympics

USA Hockey hired KYLE HUSON as digital content coordinator.

Soccer

The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football hired HEIDI PELLERANO as chief commercial officer. Pellerano was executive vice president of brands for Wasserman.

FIFA named GREG CLARKE, Football Association chairman, a vice president.

Sporting Goods and Apparel

Outdoor Voices hired PAMELA CATLETT as president and chief operating officer. Catlett was senior vice president and group general manager of the women’s and youth categories for Under Armour.

Awards and Boards

The Stadium Managers Association named MATTHEW KASTEL president, JOE ABERNATHY vice president, MARIO COUTINHO secretary and treasurer, TROY BROWN past president and KELSEY SMITH to the board of directors.
