Baseball

Major League Baseball promoted JIM SMALL to senior vice president of international, SAMI KAWAKAMI to managing director of Japan, charlie hill to vice president of international strategic development and RODRIGO FERNANDEZ to managing director of Latin America.

The Kansas City Royals promoted LONNIE GOLDBERG to assistant general manager for amateur scouting, DANIEL MACK to assistant general manager for research and development and GUY STEVENS to senior director of research and development and strategy.

The Oakland Athletics hired SANDY ALDERSON as senior adviser to baseball operations. Alderson was formerly general manager for the New York Mets.

Basketball

The National Basketball Association promoted JEROME PICKETT to executive vice president and chief security officer and SCOTT LEVY to executive vice president and managing director for NBA Asia.

The Atlanta Hawks promoted NARCIS ALIKHANI to senior manager of marketing strategy, Annabelle Bower to manager of advertising and promotions, ANNIE FINBERG to senior coordinator of digital content, CHARMA PARKER to senior manager of marketing innovations, HAL TIFT to senior manager of digital marketing and ZOE WHITE to manager of marketing integration and operations.

The Oklahoma City Thunder hired WILL SYRING as vice president of corporate partnerships. Syring was head of global sales for the Chicago Bulls.

Pacers Sports & Entertainment hired TATIANA HOLIFIELD as vice president and head of digital strategy. Holifield was senior director of social media and digital marketing strategy for Viacom.

Colleges

Austin Peay State University shifted BRANDI BRYANT to assistant athletic director for strategic initiatives and capital projects.

Fairmont State University promoted PATRICK SNIVELY to senior associate athletic director and RYAN COURTNEY to assistant athletic director for internal operations.

Montana State University promoted Blake Schulte to director of equipment operations, CAMIE BECHTOLD to senior associate athletic director for administration, THIJS GOOSSENS to senior associate athletic director for business operations and chief financial officer, CASEY FOX to senior associate athletic director for external relations, JAMIE RIZZUTO to associate athletic director for academic services; COLE MOORE to assistant athletic director for football operations; and hired ERIC HEIER as assistant athletic director for compliance.

North Carolina State University named BOO CORRIGAN athletic director, effective May 1. Corrigan was athletic director at the U.S. Military Academy and will replace the retiring DEBBIE YOW

Xavier University hired STEPHEN CROSSMAN as ticket sales manager. Crossman was an account executive for Learfield IMG College at West Virginia University.

Facilities

National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum President JEFF IDELSON will retire after the 2019 induction weekend in July.

Spectra named TIM SAVONA general manager for the Tyson Events Center and Orpheum Theatre.

Football

The Houston Texans hired CLAY HAMPTON as director of football operations. Hampton was senior director of operations for the New York Jets.

The Miami Dolphins promoted ADAM ENGROFF and ANTHONY HUNT to co-directors of player personnel, BRANDON SHORE to vice president of football administration and MATT WINSTON to assistant director of college scouting; and hired MARVIN ALLEN as an assistant general manager.

Gaming

Access Intelligence hired MEGAN KUCZYNSKI as managing director for its Esports Business Summit.

Sports Commissions and Tourism Boards

The Charlotte Sports Foundation named DANNY MORRISON executive director. Morrison will succeed WILL WEBB, effective May 1.

Ticketing

AXS hired SEZIN AKSOY as senior vice president of global data strategy and analytics.

Gametime hired MICHAEL KUNDE as chief financial officer. Kunde was chief financial officer for Spring Education Group.

Awards and Boards

The Orange Bowl Committee named JOSE ROMANO president and chair, JEFF RUBIN president-elect and chair-elect and JACK SEILER first vice-chair.

Sportradar named TONY AQUILA chairman and MARC WALDER, HERVE COUTURIER and GEORGE FLEET to the Sportradar Group Board.

Other

Imagination Park Technologies hired JONATHAN MARINER as a senior adviser to the chief executive officer.

One Championship hired MEGHAN JENKINS as vice president of international. Jenkins was vice president and head of strategy for NBA Asia.
