The Houston Astros promoted within their research and development department COLIN WYERS to senior architect, RYAN FERGUSON to senior analyst, CATHERINE CAGE to manager; and hired EHSAN BOKHARI as director and SARAH GELLES as program manager. RYAN HALLAHAN transitioned to a software development consultant

The Boston Red Sox promoted BRIAN O’HALLORAN and EDDIE ROMERO to executive vice president and assistant general manager; ZACK SCOTT to senior vice president and assistant general manager; RAQUEL FERREIRA to senior vice president, major and minor league operations; BRIAN ABRAHAM to director of minor league operations; JOE MCDONALD to director of baseball analytics; MIKE REGAN to director of baseball administration and special projects; MARCUS CUELLAR to coordinator of player personnel; ALEX GIMENEZ to coordinator of major league operations; and PATRICK MCLAUGHLIN to coordinator of Florida baseball operations and minor league video.

The New York Mets hired BRODIE VAN WAGENEN as general manager. Van Wagenen was co-head of CAA Baseball.

The San Francisco Giants hired FARHAN ZAIDI as president of baseball operations. Zaidi was general manager for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Seattle Seahawks hired ALEN CISIJA as associate counsel. Cisija was an associate for Covington & Burling LLP.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers hired DAN MALASKY as chief legal officer. Malasky was general counsel and managing director of business affairs for the United States Tennis Association National Campus.

The XFL hired DOUG WHALEY as senior vice president of football operations.

Marketing

Allied Global Marketing launched a new division, Allied Sports, and named SEAN BARROR managing director, MIKE SHEEHAN managing partner and senior advisor and JONATHAN FADOR head of sales.

Endeavor promoted DAN LIMERICK to head of business affairs for its representation business

GMR Marketing hired MEGAN HANSON as vice president of client consulting and services and MAT JOHNSON as an experiential strategist.

Other

The Ultimate Fighting Championship hired NICK SMITH as vice president of global partnerships. Smith was global chief communications officer for Bastion Collective.
