The Class AA Eastern League Akron RubberDucks promoted MITCH CROMES to manager of season ticket sales and service and ROY JACOBS to manager of group sales and service; and hired DAVE BURKE as vice president of sales, TREVOR MCGUIRE as a ticket sales account executive and SONIA BRAVO-MURILLO as coordinator of community relations. The team named ANTHONY CHADWICK manager of corporate partnerships; SAM CRANOR box office manager; IAN WILKINSON and JACOB LAMBERT ticket sales account executives; JAMES PETRELLA assistant groundskeeper; GABE WASYLKO coordinator of creative services; KYLE HIXENBAUGH coordinator of promotions; and MARCO LANAVE lead broadcaster.

 

Colleges

Temple University hired CHRIS JONES as assistant athletic director for major gifts. Jones was director of development for athletics at Clarion University.

 

The University of Texas at San Antonio promoted KELSEY THOMAS to assistant athletic director for major gifts, and hired BRENDAN HOFFER as senior associate athletic director for development and KALIE JONOVICH and evan wilks as development assistants for the Roadrunner Athletic Fund.

The Ladies Professional Golf Association named ROBERTA BOWMAN chief brand and communications officer.

Law

Porter Wright hired BRUCE WIMBISH as marketing manager for its sports law practice and vice president for the Anomaly Sports Group and CLARK KELLOGG as an advisory board member for the Anomaly Sports Group. Wimbish was senior communications manager for the Greater Columbus Sports Commission.

4FRONT hired MAUREEN CRONIN as senior manager of digital sales and HEATHER KLEIN as vice president of digital. Cronin was an account executive for Dstillery, and Klein was media planning director for Southwest Media Group.

 

Independent Sports & Entertainment launched a new property sales group and hired JAKE STONE as vice president of property sales. Stone was managing director of commercial partnerships for Cox Media Group’s DieHards Sports Network.

ESPN named RUSSELL WOLFF executive vice president and general manager for ESPN+. Wolff was executive vice president and managing director for ESPN International.

 

Jungo TV hired MIGUEL SANTOS as executive vice president and managing director.

Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment promoted BRIAN ADAMS to vice president of brand marketing and creative; IAN HILLMAN to vice president of strategy; KEN LISI to director of corporate partnerships; ALLISON MALECKI to senior director of business operations for the New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center, DAN MALANDRUCCOLO to director of guest services and MIKE SORIANO to director of marketing for the New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center; CORINNE WELTMAN to director of player, family and alumni initiatives for the New Jersey Devils; and ASHLEY NUEL to director of entertainment for the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Houston Dynamo and Houston Dash hired JOHN WALKER as president of business operations. Walker was executive vice president for business operations for the Memphis Grizzlies.

 

The Major League Soccer expansion club Inter Miami CF hired DENNIS SPRENKLE as vice president of human resources and administration. Sprenkle was director of human resources for Orlando City SC.

 

The Major League Soccer expansion club Nashville MLS hired MIKE JACOBS as general manager. Jacobs was technical director for the USL Nashville SC.
