‘Driven’ to return for second season on Golf Channel, focus on Alabama

Last year’s series featured Rickie Fowler’s college team, Oklahoma State.golf channel

Golf Channel will bring back “Driven” for a second season and will run the series in the lead-up to the 2019 NCAA Men’s Golf Championships in late May.

Executive produced by PGA Tour stars Rickie Fowler and Justin Thomas, the series follows a similar script as other behind-the-scenes efforts like HBO’s “Hard Knocks.” This year, the series will focus on Alabama’s golf team, with Auburn and Oklahoma State being filmed as well. The series’ first three parts are scheduled for Monday nights on Golf Channel; the final episode will air on NBC following the NCAA championships.
