Oak View Group’s imaging deal allows fans to register, get paid for content at 6 arenas

Oak View Group and WENN Digital Inc. have signed an imaging rights deal for fans taking photos and videos at six NBA and NHL arenas.

The deal allows fans at the arenas to sign up for KodakOne Image Rights, which is a blockchain technology system allowing fans to upload and register their content and get paid for their use by others via crypto currency called KodakCoin. The deal brings KodakOne to six of Oak View Group’s Arena Alliance venues, including:

AT&T Center in San Antonio

Indianapolis’ Bankers Life Fieldhouse

Golden 1 Center in Sacramento

Prudential Center in Newark

Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix

■ Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul

Those venues combined to host more than 10 million fans each year at sporting events, concerts, ice shows and other events.
