Baseball

The Oakland Athletics promoted Scott Brinkman, Eric Davis and Christian Suarez to account executives of fan development.

The Class AA Texas League Frisco RoughRiders promoted Matt Ratliff to vice president of marketing and communications, Regina Lyn Pierce to assistant vice president of entertainment, Kathryne Buckley to assistant vice president of partner and event services and David Kosydar to director of partner services. The team hired Bernadette Miller as chief financial officer and Tim Arseneau as vice president of ballpark operations.

Colleges

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff parted ways with Athletic Director Lonza Hardy.

Ball State University Athletic Director Mark Sandy announced his retirement, effective at the end of June.

Brigham Young University named Bob Schirmer associate athletic director for finance. Schirmer worked in BYU’s tax office.

The University of Massachusetts, Amherst hired Kirsten Britton as senior associate athletic director for sport administration and senior woman administrator. Britton was associate athletic director at the College of the Holy Cross.

The University of New Haven named Robin Salters to deputy athletic director and senior woman administrator. Salters served as the university’s women’s volleyball coach for 24 years.

Northern Arizona University hired Uri Farkas as senior associate athletic director for external operations and development. Farkas was associate athletic director and executive director of the Cougar Athletic Fund at Washington State University.

Stephen F. Austin Athletic Director Robert Hill will retire, effective May 31, after three decades in various roles throughout the department.

Yale University named Victoria Chun athletic director, effective July 1. Chun was vice president and athletic director at Colgate University.

The University of Virginia named Nancy Rivers senior associate athletic director and chief of staff. Rivers was chief of staff for the university president and associate vice president for administration.

Southern Utah University promoted Jacob Dye to director of marketing and fan engagement.

Facilities

Pocono Raceway promoted Kevin Heaney to director of content and communications.

SMG named Nathaniel Porter director of event services for Intrust Bank Arena. Porter was senior event services manager for the SMG-managed BOK Center.

Golf

The United States Golf Association named Mark Newell president; Mark Reinemann secretary; Thomas Barkin treasurer; Richard Shortz general counsel; Nick Price, Kendra Graham, Sharon Ritchey and Paul Brown to its executive committee; and Pam Murray chairman and Courtney Myhrum vice chairman of the USGA Women’s Committee.

Motorsports

NASCAR named Jim Cassidy chief international officer, Chad Seigler vice president of international business development and Ben Kennedy general manager of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. NASCAR and International Speedway Corp. named for both organizations Craig Neeb chief innovation and development officer, Eric Nyquist chief communications officer and Paula Miller senior vice president of human resources. NASCAR Managing Director of Technology Development Betsy Grider left the sanctioning body.

Multiteam Companies

Pegula Sports and Entertainment promoted Jennifer Van Rysdam to vice president of live events.

Soccer

The Chicago Fire added the title of president to General Manager Nelson Rodríguez, and hired John Urban as chief operating officer.

The Los Angeles Football Club hired Luke Zelon as manager of business development and Lindsey Weis as account manager of partnership development. Zelon was with Catalyst Sports and Media, and Weis was with the Portland Trail Blazers.

Sports Commissions and Tourism Boards

The National Association of Sports Commissions promoted Elizabeth Chaney Young to vice president.

The Wisconsin Center District named Marty Brooks chief executive officer. Brooks was senior vice president and general manager of America’s Center Complex in St. Louis.
