Baseball

The Arizona Diamondbacks promoted Cullen Maxey to executive vice president and chief revenue officer.

The Chicago Cubs promoted Scott Harris to assistant general manager and Jeff Greenberg to director of baseball operations, and named Shiraz Rehman assistant general manager for strategic initiatives.

The Minnesota Twins named Justin Morneau as special assistant to baseball operations and Jim Kaat as a special assistant to the organization aiding with community and business initiatives.

The San Diego Padres hired Dave Cameron as senior analyst for research and development. Cameron was managing editor for FanGraphs.

Basketball

The Milwaukee Bucks promoted Jamie Morningstar to senior vice president of ticket sales and service and Jordan Lopez to vice president of retention and premium hospitality, and hired Paul Bee as vice president of ticket sales. Bee was director of sales for the Detroit Red Wings.

The Harlem Globetrotters hired Phil McCarn as vice president of global partnership marketing. McCarn was a senior account executive for Georgia Tech IMG Sports Marketing.

Colleges

Auburn University named Allen Greene athletic director. Greene was athletic director at the University at Buffalo.

Fairfield University hired Connor Donnelly as assistant director of athletic giving. Donnelly was in the office of development and university relations at Fordham University.

The University of Georgia hired Will Lawler as executive associate athletic director for compliance. Lawler was assistant commissioner for compliance for the Southeastern Conference.

Facilities

American Airlines Center promoted Gina Chapa to vice president of guest experience.

The Del Mar Thoroughbred Club promoted Josh Rubinstein to president.

New Hampshire Motor Speedway hired Shannon Stephens as communications manager. Stephens was promotions and marketing coordinator for Saga Communications’ Manchester Radio Group.

Ryan Sanders Sports Services promoted Jay Kudla to senior vice president of strategic hospitality, Garrett Reddehase to senior vice president of turf operations and Kerri Johnson to senior vice president of accounting and administration.

Football

The National Football League hired Mark Pesavento as vice president of digital content. Pesavento was formerly senior vice president of digital production for Fox Sports.

The Cleveland Browns hired Eliot Wolf as assistant general manager and Alonzo Highsmith as vice president of player personnel. Wolf was director of football operations and Highsmith senior personnel executive for the Green Bay Packers.

The Seattle Seahawks hired Lisa Bregman as director of marketing. Bregman was senior manager of brands for Wasserman.

The Green Bay Packers promoted Ed Policy to chief operating officer and general counsel, Brian Gutekunst to general manager and Russ Ball to executive vice president and director of football operations.

Golf

The PGA Tour named Adam Sperling executive director for the 2021 Presidents Cup. Sperling was executive director for the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open.

Marketing

Burson-Marsteller has fully integrated TSE Consulting, and formed a new unit, Burson-Marsteller Sport, with Lars Haue-Pedersen as managing director.

Charge hired John Berry as business development specialist.

Intersport hired Michael Kraft as vice president of strategic partnerships. Kraft was a director for sports network Stadium.

Learfield named Matt Ryan senior manager of business development for Tar Heel Sports Properties at the University of North Carolina and Ron Kobata general manager for Beach Sports Properties at Long Beach State.

Octagon hired Liza Durge as client services director for Octagon UK. Durge was a global client partner for DigitasLBi.

The Pivot Agency hired Brian Hastings as vice president of business development.

Modern Promos hired Bill Sluben as vice president of growth strategy.

Professional Sports Partners promoted Tamara Lupo to chief operating officer, and hired Erik Pulvereti as director of business development and Ben Carrutthers as director of marketing partnerships.

Media

ESPN promoted Mike Morrison to vice president for ESPN business development and Charly Classen to vice president and general manager for EMEA, South Asia and Australia/New Zealand. Tim Bunnell, senior vice president of international programming, production and marketing, added oversight of China and North Asia businesses to his responsibilities.

NBC Sports Chicago hired Tony Romano as local sales manager. Romano was national sales manager for Fox Sports Ohio.

Awards and Boards

The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame named Sherrie Deans, National Basketball Players Association Foundation executive director, and Jim Puhala, MassMutual head of field and regulatory compliance, to its board of governors; and David Fogel, National Basketball Coaches Association executive director, to its board of trustees.

Other

DKC promoted Dave Donovan to director of sports.

BCD Meetings and Events hired Jay Jefferis as director of business development for BCD Sports.

The Athlete Network hired Brett Fuller as vice president of partnerships. Fuller was vice president of business development for SportsLabs.

The World Surf League hired Will Chignell as chief marketing officer. Chignell was chief marketing and communications officer for the America’s Cup.
