The St. Louis Cardinals promoted Luis Morales to director of international operations and administration, Matt Slater to special assistant to the general manager for player procurement, Matt Bayer to manager of scouting analytics, Tyler Hadzinsky to amateur scouting coordinator and analyst, and Emily Wiebe to baseball operations analyst.

Basketball
NBA China Chief Executive Officer David Shoemaker will step down after the 2017-18 NBA season.

The Atlanta Hawks hired Michael Drake as senior vice president of corporate partnerships and premium sales. Drake was senior vice president and chief revenue officer of business operations for AMB Sports & Entertainment.

Colleges

The University of Arkansas hired Hunter Yurachek as vice chancellor and athletic director. Yurachek was vice president for athletics at the University of Houston.

Georgetown University promoted Shannon Soares to associate athletic director for administration and varsity sports.

High Point University hired Drew Sanchez as assistant athletic director for compliance. Sanchez was director of compliance at Creighton University.

Texas Christian University promoted Jeremiah Donati to athletic director.

Facilities

New Hampshire Motor Speedway hired Matt Goslant as vice president of operations and development. Goslant was general manager of Stewart-Haas Racing’s No. 00 team.

Football

The Cleveland Browns hired John Dorsey as general manager.

The Canadian Football League’s BC Lions hired Ed Hervey as general manager. Hervey was formerly vice president of football operations and general manager for the Edmonton Eskimos.

Marketing

Excel Sports Management hired Bryan Burney as vice president of business development. Burney was vice president of branding and strategy for Roc Nation.

Fenway Sports Management promoted Fred Olsen to vice president and Kathleen Harrington to assistant director, and named Brett Miller special events coordinator.

IRG Sports & Entertainment named Mike Dunn senior consultant for the International Hot Rod Association. Dunn was the IHRA’s president.

McGRATH
Match Marketing Group hired Jonathan McGrath as senior account manager. McGrath was associate manager of trade shows and events for Ivoclar Vivadent.

Van Wagner Sports and Entertainment named Scott Janess senior vice president of sales.

Media

ESPN hired Jeff Stallings as vice president of fan engagement. Stallings was senior director of media for Walmart.

Fox Networks Group promoted Brian Sullivan to president and chief operating officer.

Motorsports

Team Penske hired Ian Moye as a media relations representative for its new No. 12 Ford in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. Moye was a media relations representative for Chip Ganassi Racing.

Olympics
USA Swimming hired Isabelle McLemore as senior director of communications. McLemore was vice president of corporate communications for the UFC.

Soccer

Sporting Kansas City
hired Meghan Cameron as assistant director of player personnel. Cameron was senior manager of player relations for Major League Soccer.

Nike
hired Lauren Sherman as senior director of digital marketing and Michelle Goad as senior director for Nike 1:1. Sherman was head of marketing for Red Antler, and Goad was chief executive officer and co-founder of PS Dept.

named Mark Francis managing director for sports and entertainment.

SMG Insight hired Scott Horowitz as chief revenue officer for North America. Horowitz was senior vice president for Nielsen Sports for North America.

FanWagon hired Michael Pearce as an executive. Pearce was formerly head of Yahoo Sports.
