The Atlanta Braves hired Alex Anthopoulos as executive vice president and general manager.

The Miami Marlins hired David Oxfeld as vice president and head of corporate partnerships and Adam Jones as senior vice president of strategy and development. Oxfeld was vice president of client sales and business development for Excel Sports Management, and Jones was director of the U.S. Sports and Tourism Sector for PricewaterhouseCoopers.

hired Colby Lewis as a special assistant to the general manager.

 

The Class A Midwest League’s Wisconsin Timber Rattlers promoted Brittany Ezze to director of group sales and Seth Merrill to corporate marketing manager, and hired Megan Chatterton and Kyle Fargen as group sales representatives.

College
The NCAA hired former ESPN reporter Andy Katz as a contractor to cover college basketball for NCAA.com.

Fresno State University hired Alisha Parker as director of sports nutrition. Parker was the sports dietitian for the Class A Carolina League’s Myrtle Beach Pelicans.

Illinois State University promoted Zach Schroeder to assistant athletic director for marketing.

The Louisiana State University Tiger Athletic Foundation promoted Ben Ross to vice president of development, Bunnie Cannon to executive director of development support services and Derek Denton to executive director of development.

Esports
McLaren hired Ben Payne as director of esports. Payne was Windows and PSM marketing manager for Microsoft.

VICI Properties named Jeff Krohn as vice president of golf operations.

 

International Speedway Corp. hired Jacob Wyne as senior manager of partnership sales. Wyne was director of corporate partnerships for Front Row Motorsports.

Pocono Raceway hired Craig Amhaus as executive managing director of partnership sales and service. Amhaus was vice president of corporate partnerships for the Philadelphia Union.

Richmond Raceway hired Michael Evranian as director of business development. Evranian was senior director of partnership sales for Pocono Raceway.

Financial
J.P. Morgan Private Bank named Bob Graziano vice chairman. Graziano was a Los Angeles Dodgers executive from 1986 to 2004, rising to the role of president.

Century Club of San Diego and Farmers Insurance Open named Barbara Savaglio chair for the 2021 PGA Tour event.

Proskauer promoted Frank Saviano to partner of its sports group.

Marketing
André Schunk was shifted to lead Futures Sport & Entertainment in North America from his position as executive vice president for Octagon. Both firms are part of the Interpublic Group.

IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions promoted Matt Pagano to general manager at Temple and hired Joy Grimsley as sales representative at Memphis, Adrian Amaya as an account executive at Rice and Elon Staten as an account executive at Washington State.

Media
ESPN hired Cary Meyers as senior vice president of fan and media intelligence. Meyers was senior vice president of ad sales research and strategy for NBC Universal.

Golf Channel promoted Molly Solomon to executive vice president of content and executive producer and Will McIntosh to executive vice president of strategy. The company hired Pepper White as senior vice president of marketing.

Schmidt Peterson Motorsports hired Todd Malloy as technical director and Eric Pinkham as vice president for partner strategy.

Olympics
USA Gymnastics named Kerry Perry president and chief executive officer. Perry was vice president of business development for Learfield Communications.

Other
Nolan Partners hired Graham Boone as an associate in its Los Angeles office. Boone was director of basketball operations and an NBA agent for Tandem Sports & Entertainment.

Anheuser-Busch InBev promoted Michel Doukeris to zone president for North America and chief executive officer for Anheuser-Busch, effective Jan. 1.

promoted Sarah Axelson to director of advocacy and hired Karen Issokson-Silver as vice president of research and evaluations.

 

Global Daily Fantasy Sports hired Paul Dever as chief financial officer and corporate secretary.

Legends hired Joseph Cormier as chief financial officer. Cormier was executive vice president and chief financial officer for the Camber Corp.

The American Cancer Society hired J.W. Cannon to work on its sports partnerships team. Cannon was UPS senior project lead for sponsorship and events.

The International Tennis Hall of Fame named Hope (Happy) van Beuren and Christopher Clouser life trustees.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame named George Oliver, Johnson Controls chairman and chief executive officer, to its board of trustees.

Quotient Technology named Michelle McKenna-Doyle, NFL senior vice president and chief information officer, to its board of directors.

Electronic Arts named Heidi Ueberroth, Globicon president, to its board of directors.

TANNER
Little League International named Hugh Tanner chairman of the board of directors. Tanner succeeds Davie Jane Gilmour at the conclusion of her five-year tenure. Also, Steven Johnson was named chairman-elect, and Dr. James Andrews finished his term on the board.

 

University Fancards named Walker Jones, Under Armour senior director for global sports marketing and business development; Rob McCabe, Pinnacle Financial Partners cofounder and chairman of the board; and Robert Walker, Apria Healthcare executive vice president, to its board of directors.

Wilson Sporting Goods named professional squash player Nicol David to its advisory staff.
