Colleges
The University of Tennessee promoted Kayla Smith to assistant athletic director for student-athlete engagement.

Lynn Hickey, University of Texas at San Antonio associate vice president and athletic director, stepped down from her position for personal reasons, effective immediately.

Saint Joseph’s University hired Janelle Fritz as director of ticket operations. Fritz was coordinator of ticketing and promotions at Villanova University.

Samford University promoted Bo Kerr to deputy athletic director for revenue generation, Michelle Durban to deputy athletic director for student-athlete well-being and senior woman administrator, Hal Langston to associate athletic director for development and strategy, Harold Goss to associate athletic director for academics and compliance, and Joe Davidson to associate athletic director for operations.

Football
The NFL named James Trapp executive director of the NFL Legends Community and hired Michelle Micone as senior vice president of consumer products. Micone was Hasbro vice president of licensing for North America.

The Kansas City Chiefs hired Matt Kenny as vice president of stadium services and events. Kenny was senior director of event operations for the Chicago Cubs and Wrigley Field.

Golf
The Wells Fargo Championship named Gary Sobba tournament director. He was senior vice president and executive director of business development for Learfield Sports.

Hockey
The NHL hired George Parros as senior vice president of player safety and Sarah Beeson as a producer for NHL.com International.

The Los Angeles Kings promoted Pete Lisowski to director of business operations and hired Derek Mayfield and Jonathan Jerozal as account executives for ticket sales and service.

Marketing
CSM Sports and Entertainment hired Sean Downes as senior vice president of business development. Downes was chief revenue officer for Richard Petty Motorsports.

GlideSlope co-founder Eric Guthoff is leaving the company to pursue new opportunities later this year. CSM Sports and Entertainment acquired GlideSlope earlier this year.

IPG360 named Karl Mawhinney vice president of partnerships. Mawhinney will spearhead partnerships for the Johnson Controls Hall of Fame Village in Canton, Ohio.

Van Wagner Sports & Entertainment named Emily Martin account manager for its media and properties division.

Media
21st Century Fox promoted Fox Networks Group Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Peter Rice to president of 21st Century Fox. Fox Sports Head of Business Operations David Nathanson is leaving the company.

CSN Chicago promoted Brendan Lewis to national sales manager and Jill Fields to general sales manager.

USA Today Sports Media Group President Dave Morgan left the company.

The Chernin Group hired Chad Millman to oversee an “information and personality-driven gambling content platform.” Millman was vice president and editorial director of domestic digital content for ESPN.

ESPN named Monique Jones MLB deputy editor and Cristina Daglas NBA deputy editor for ESPN.com.

FuboTV hired Yale Wang as vice president and head of North American marketing. Wang was vice president and head of marketing for DramaFever.

Multiteam Companies
The Madison Square Garden Co. hired Nick Allen to head its esports division. Allen was Twitch’s vice president of esports.

Monumental Sports & Entertainment hired Patsy Coyle as vice president of global partnership retention. Coyle was director of global partnerships for Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment.

Soccer
The United Soccer League’s Las Vegas Lights FC hired Steve Pastorino as vice president of corporate partnerships. Pastorino was senior director of corporate partnerships for the Oakland Athletics.

Other
Prodigy Sports named Dan Rossetti president. Rossetti was president and managing partner for Ascension Sports Partners, which was acquired by Prodigy Sports.

Tailgate Guys hired A.J. Machosky as senior vice president of sales and business development. Machosky was senior vice president of partnerships for Vivid Seats.

Zebra Technologies’ vice president and general manager of location solutions, Jill Stelfox, left the company.

Awards and Boards
The WTA named Gary Brody, Marcraft Apparel president, to the WTA Tour board of directors.
