Colleges
Johns Hopkins University named Alanna Shanahan athletic director, effective July 18. Shanahan was deputy athletic director and senior woman’s administrator at the University of Pennsylvania.

New Jersey Institute of Technology named Sean Morrison director of development for athletics. Morrison was associate athletic director for external affairs at Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Spectra by Comcast Spectacor promoted Mike Scanlon to senior vice president of arenas and stadiums.

HOK promoted Eli Hoisington to senior vice president in its St. Louis office.

Nick Raffaele was named executive director of PGA Tour event the CareerBuilder Challenge and chief executive officer of Desert Classic Charities. Raffaele was vice president of global sports marketing for Callaway Golf.

TEN: The Enthusiast Network hired Eugene Buchanan as a strategic adviser to its Paddlesports Network. Buchanan was formerly publisher and editor-in-chief of Paddler magazine and editor-at-large for Canoe and Kayak magazine.

NASCAR promoted Evan Parker to managing director of brand integration and Dayna Caine to director of partnership marketing.

Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment hired Beverly Skaar as vice president of finance, Ana Castellanos as vice president of talent acquisition and development, Matthew Bailey as director of global partnerships and Jessica Quinlan as director of venue marketing.

The United Soccer League’s Louisville City FC hired Jonathan Lintner as director of media relations. Lintner was a reporter for The Courier-Journal in Louisville, Ky.

’47 hired John Rabik as national accounts manager for lifestyle. Rabik was East Coast sales manager and key accounts for the sales agency Money Ruins Everything.

Fanatics named Robin Eletto chief people officer. Eletto was executive vice president and chief people officer for Millennial Media.

LOCKERBIE
The Parker Co. hired Donald Lockerbie as managing director of its sports and event group. Lockerbie has been a consultant for multiple Olympic Games.

Britton Gallagher’s professional athletes and entertainers insurance solutions practice hired Devan Colabianchi as a client associate.

Turnkey Intelligence named Matt Petersen vice president of sponsorship measurement.
