Fatovic specializes in college and Olympic sports projects with a bent on sustainability. Case in point: his current work transforming Maryland’s Cole Field House, the school’s vintage basketball arena, into a new football practice facility with space carved out for brain injury research. Fatovic’s presence is felt in Canada as well. For the 2015 Women’s World Cup and Pan Am Games, Fatovic worked on stadium retrofits, and he wrote the CFL’s stadium guidelines as new venues replace outdated facilities in North America’s oldest pro football league.
