Army salutes Red Sox chairman

Boston Red Sox Chairman Tom Werner (right) was presented with the Army’s Outstanding Civilian Service Award at the Pentagon on Oct. 30 by U.S. Army chief of staff Gen. Raymond Odierno. Werner was recognized for his leadership in the creation of the Home Base Program, helping returning veterans heal from post-traumatic stress and traumatic brain injuries.
