Decision 2014: Who spent what?

Republican candidates and political action committees outspent their Democratic counterparts for sports-based ad spending in our measured markets. According to our research, 42 percent of the ad spending came from Republican PACs, with 24 percent from Republication candidates. Democratic candidates and PACs each spent 16 percent of the sum.
