Meet the Sports Business Awards nominees

The sports industry shifts its attention to the New York Marriott Marquis at Times Square as the seventh annual Sports Business Awards are presented on Wednesday. A total of 80 nominees across 15 categories aim to be among those walking across the stage to collect a trophy. The awards will recognize the industry’s best in media, agencies, sponsorship, events, teams, leagues, technology and more. The Executive of the Year and Athletic Director of the Year also will be recognized. In this special section, SportsBusiness Journal introduces you to the nominees and provides the highlights that made them stand out over the past year and earned them a spot on a Sports Business Award ballot.
